{"id":408,"date":"2018-11-15T13:38:36","date_gmt":"2018-11-15T13:38:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dailybusinessbuzz.ca\/?p=408"},"modified":"2019-04-26T20:50:26","modified_gmt":"2019-04-26T20:50:26","slug":"dispensary-fire-rages-in-halifax","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.dailybusinessbuzz.ca\/weed-dispensary-halifax","title":{"rendered":"Dispensary fire rages in Halifax"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Halifax Weed Dispensaries<\/h1>\n<p>Police are investigating a fire at a dispensary on Dutch Village Road in Halifax that damaged the building and burned marijuana being stored inside.<\/p>\n<p>Fire crews were called to a business registered as Greenhouse Wellness before 7 a.m. By around\u00a08 a.m., the fire was safely extinguished.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Roy Hollett, deputy chief with Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency, confirmed\u00a0there was marijuana in the building and it could definitely be smelled outside as the fire burned.<\/p>\n<p>He said the fire started behind the structure and moved inside. There were no injuries reported.<\/p>\n<p>Police closed the 3400-block of Dutch Village Road between Rosedale Avenue and Joseph Howe Drive for over 60 minutes. It was reopened shortly before 9:00AM.<\/p>\n<p>Dispensaries that sell cannabis have remained illegal in Nova Scotia despite the legalization of recreational marijuana and other ventures like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casinochan.com\">online casinos real money<\/a> in Canada on Oct. 17.
